Artumas reports its CSR progress in both a semi-annual AAF Newsletter (OYE) and a semi-annual EnviroUpdate newsletter. In early 2007, Artumas will focus on incorporating key performance indicators into CSR reporting to ensure that CSR is viewed as a metric that is part of the overall financial performance. CSR reporting for our company is ultimately about setting targets and acknowledging a long-term commitment to realizing these targets.
Our vision is to be one of the most trusted companies in the markets and regions in which we operate. In 2007, we plan to develop a five year CSR strategy to help us realise this vision. It sets clear priorities to:
- Maintain high ethical standards;
- Understand and respond to our stakeholders’ priorities;
- Ensure consistent operating standards;
- Deliver on our promises in the three CSR Strategy areas of Education, Environment, and Health & Safety; and
- Capture the potential of energy to bring socio-economic value through access to electricity.
