Artumas conducts extensive regional analysis and consultation to prioritise issues in each country in which we work. From this analysis, we rank the issues according to (i) their financial and reputation impact on our business, and (ii) the level of concern of those stakeholders most affected by our operations. These identified issues are the most significant to our business. It is from this research that we identified three areas of focus around which we developed our CSR statement: education, environment, and health & safety.
We have designed and implemented the Artumas Africa Foundation (AAF) that applies our CSR statement to the community. Our objective is to become an active partner to ensure that the region and its people realize the benefits of electrification and economic growth.
